Mass spectrometry-based proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics are powerful analytical tools that can provide new biological insights into brown and beige adipose tissue physiology. Therefore, this central project will coordinate and provide state-of-the-art proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics service platforms for the whole consortium. To better understand human thermogenic fat, reliable and standardized adipocyte models are essential. Therefore, S02 will provide standardized protocols and batches of human brown and beige adipocytes, to all members of the CRC/TRR.
