On May 6, 2026, Dr. Anna Worthmann (P07) visited the second-semester biology classes at Hamburg’s Gymnasium Süderelbe. As part of the topic “Life and Energy,” she provided the students with insights into her research on brown adipose tissue and introduced possible career paths in medicine and basic research. In addition to discussing the biochemistry of brown adipose tissue and its importance for metabolism and the cardiovascular system, the session also included interactive quizzes and an open Q&A session.
