On October 03rd, companies and public institutions were invited in the framework of the annual 'The show with the mouse' initiative to open their doors and rooms to school kids to present their work places and explain what they are doing and how they do it. Our consortium also attended and 9 school children had the chance to learn something about brown fat and even perform scientific work routines under supervision. They had the chance to see brown and white adipose tissue under the microscope, extract DNA from bacteria and their own mucosa.
